Add new source into ITOpsReferenceData
Add new source into ITOpsReference data. Use below api to insert new value. We can either add it as globally or as project specific.
API Details:

Add Project Specific Reference data using the APIs documented at ITOps AlertMapping (ustsmartops.ai)
If the same values need to be used across all projects, the values should be configured in ITOpsReferenceData. The APIs given above should be used only when a project specific setting is needed. Otherwise use below mentioned api.

Workflow
Configure new template (API) - API details available in 1.4 PDD
Use the Creating Ticket Template to define ticket templates for ticket creation. This is a mandatory step without which ticket creation will fail and alerts will go to correlation incomplete.
Severity Mapping for new Source (UI)
Add required severity values into reference data by using api if you need new severity values for new source or you can use available severity values. Severity Mapping can be configured from Configuration > Severity Mapping
Ticket Threshold setting (UI)
Choose new source and then add cluster size and Time interval in minutes for the new source to check ticket threshold functionality. For this choose Configuration > Ticketing Threshold.
