Accessing Rule Engine

To access Rule Engine, follow the steps:

 

1. Access the SmartOps application using the URL.  

2. Select Rule Engine from the list of SmartOps modules as shown in FigureFigure.

   
   Rule Engine home page is displayed with respect to the functionalities available for the logged-in user roles as shown.

3. The rules are also available as folders in tree format.

   • You may drag and move rules within a folder to another folder or

   • Move a folder to another folder.

4. To view the rule details, click on the corresponding rules from the list. This displays the rule definition as shown in FigureFigure.    

   
   To edit the details, if required, click on Edit. The Rule definition will be displayed in edit mode.
   

5. You may search for required rule definition by typing in Full/Partial name of the rule in the Search bar.

6. You may also filter by Type (DRL/XLS) from the Filter by Type field.
