Device Inventory allows the customers a unified view of devices managed by different monitoring tools. Device Inventory in ITOPs is now added with device details page which allows user to see a device within the inventory and its associated information.

Alert console allows ITOPS engineers a single pane view of alerts. Alert console has features such as advanced filter which allows users to define filter criteria, search to search and find alerts using keywords.

Alert console has been enhanced with following new features:

  • Ability to set default filter for alert console
  • Advanced filter: Ability to switch saved filter from the Alert Listing View
  • Usability fixes
    • Multi selection enabled in Alert State drop down
    • Ability to filter based on Ticketed / Non Ticketed

  • Cluster Severity will be set as Highest of the alerts in a cluster when the cluster has alerts from more than one resource
  • Introduction of operator for defining relationship in Rules

Alert correlation is the process of clustering similar and related alerts together as a group. ITOPs provides functionalities to set correlation rules based on which the system processes alerts, classify alerts as Failure , recovery, auto close alerts if conditions are met etc.

Alert correlation and processing capabilities of ITOPs has been improved with following features:

• Ability to specify conditions to classify an alert as Recovery from UI
  • Add, Edit, Delete functionality via UI for recovery policy
• Ability to specify conditions to classify an alert as Failure from UI
  • Add, Edit, Delete functionality via UI for failure policy
• Ability to specify Auto Closure and Flapping settings from UI
• Ability to activate deactivate rules in a policy
• Ability to Open Ticket details and Device details in new browser tabs
• Assign all the alerts corresponding tickets to a virtual engineer in ITSM
