Email Notification


Multi Organization support for RHub in PaaS

Overview

SmartOps 7.8 is a maintenance release intended to support the ongoing functioning across SmartOps platform.

SmartVision on Google Cloud Platform

With the vision to expand our footprint in the major public cloud environments, a proof-of-concept of SmartVision product on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) has been deployed.

Notification Framework

SmartOps 7.8 introduces Email Notification channel which can be used in packaged products to provide email notifications. In addition to In-App notifications, SmartOps Applications will now be able to send Email notifications as well to registered users.

User Data Store

With this release, any registered SmartOps user can update information to the User Data Store. The step to register the user in User Data Store is no longer required. Packaged products like AIOps can use this feature to enable users to set their preferences such as notification preferences, timezone preference etc.

Multi Organization support for RHUb in PaaS

Previous release has introduced RHub in PaaS environment to enable flexible integrations. As an enhancement to it, we have now enabled availability of default and org specific instances of RHub in PaaS.
